Actually don't know yet. I plan on getting some stuff from them. Their reviews are good. The company I got my 2 egg chairs from in Cali fucked me around a bit so I won't use them again. Most of the rest of my stuff I've found in antique stores like The Vintage Freak and Retro Revival.

I do have one modern couch with a recliner for my entertainment area. The rest of the house? Uncomfortable keeps guests from wearing out their welcomes.

This thread and the picture thread of our office spaces have me thinking.
I need this for my office now.

I contacted USA directly, they confirmed leathergroups as an authorized vendor.
If you're referring to this ad it's mine. http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/fuo/4337604680.html Looks like I'll be getting rid of both in order to make room for the Braxton with chaise or the sectional.

Here's what my spousal unit did when we were in San Antonio.... She shopped all the big name stores, drank their free coffee, and left with printouts and brochures of the pieces she wants. She took these to the small mom and pops furniture stores and asked if they can order it for her. Almost always, the answer was yes and for a lot less than the big name stores. They all order from the same suppliers and have the same catalogs in the back office.Last edited by Leah; Yesterday at 10:18 PM.

I'll probably venture to DFW or San Antonio when I go looking for nice furniture for the house. And then shop the warehouses or small shops..

There are a few of these outlet furniture warehouses on McEwen Rd behind the LBJ/Midway Best Buy. Brinkmann also keeps an outlet back there as well, so you can tell the wife you're going to compare prices next door.
Most of the Sunday paper $1k living room sets can be found here (minus the free plasma)
If your looking for quality/durability buy American. Hooker, Bernhardt, Aspen, Hancock & Moore, Bradington Young. On a budget? Shop the clearance sections of Havertys, Freeds, Dilliards, Macy's. Weirs puts out an ad online and in the paper about every other week with very attractive prices. Shop the ad only.

And I'm not sure but was told they don't sell top grain leather.
Also, a friend purchased a set and found out it was bonded leather and canceled the order - before delivery. They are charging him $750 for restocking , and the "shit " hasn't even left the warehouse yet! Fucking BS move right there.
Haverty's is another good place to buy quality stuff. If they even get bonded leather in, they won't call it leather, and just call it fabric.
