I would love to have a table, but I would end up having to function as the dealer and that would suck.

I would love to have a party and pay a dealer and a stick to come in to work the table.

You nailed it right on the head, I rarely get to play cause im stuck as dealer. But when the tables full its still pretty fun, hard to keep up with but fun. I jazz it up with the dealer lingo and make it fun for everybody.

I seriously want to have one. I was thinking about making it like a $20 buy in that goes into a pot. Whoever has won the most after a set time wins that pot. Something so you can actually walk away with a little money.

I agree the pass line and come bets are a great way to learn the game. If you play in the afternoon the dealers are much more talkative and the ones I dealt with seemed eager to teach. I did play a few sucker bets in the middle, but I got lucky and hit quite a few bets on the Hard 6 although EVERYONE told me not to bet it. I was probably just lucky and don't expect to repeat next time.

Mine always followed me throwing the dice off the table a second time. The first time never effected anything, but the second always resulted in a 7 within 1 or 2 rolls.

if a true "craps virgin" is the shooter, bet heavy on that shooter.

My buddy's gf that came with us made me a LOT of money last time we were there. We would go to a casino, double our money in 30-45 minutes, cash out, walk to the next one and repeat. It worked 1.5 nights. Halfway through the second night my buddy ordered a whiskey, 7Up and lemon aka Seven And Seven. The dealer kept repeating the drink order saying it was a good drink and I didn't catch on until we started losing all our money.

01yz2nv - Lets do this, Bputacoma and I can rotate as dealers too. I would be really slow to pay out, and would probably need a cheat sheet for some of the odds / payouts for the Prop Bets, but I'm down.

How about a $10 buy in with the ability to re-up? Start with say $100 in chips and make the table a $5 min. Can even break it down as a time limit or a number of shooters or something so that the dealer can rotate through. Maybe $5 per round or something. IDK, just throwing out ideas.

You're crazy.. That is terrible strategy and will cost you alot. The dice can have incredible streaks and to attempt that strategy you are likely to lose your whole bankroll. Only increase bets when you're winning, bet minimums when you're losing.
