I have a buddy that served two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. Not because he HAD too, but because he felt it was the right thing to do.
He is currently in LA finishing up, has three weeks left till he is out of the Army. He has found fishing to be his therapy to keep his sanity during the transition. This weekend while cruising back to the dock his trolling motor deployed and was ripped off his boat and sunk 50' to the floor of the lake. He was crushed and decided he needed to get rid of his pistol he just purchased to foot the bill for a new one. I posted it for sale on another forum I am on hoping to help him sell it only to have a pouring of people willing to donate their own money to buy him a new one. Had the owner of a marine shop in Waco offer to order it at dealer cost and deliver and install the motor.
This just goes to show there are still good people out there that appreciate what soldiers and their families sacrifice for our well being!
