  • Anyone know of a good shed moving company?

So disclaimer up front: It's not a shed, but my daughters 8x8x6 play house. We built it in 2020 and never figured in just over a year we'd be moving into a bigger house.

Imovesheds.com was the only place I could find that was "local" and dedicated to moving sheds. They want $1200 to move it 1.2 miles which includes the use of a "Mule" (red tractor contraption)

I'm looking for any other companies or even suggestions. I have no idea how much it weighs. But I still need to get it on a tilting flat bad.

Anyone know a tow truck driver/company that moves houses? If I can just get it to the new house, I've read rolling it along PVC or metal pipes works.

Thank you kindly. Sent him a message with details. Hope he can help me out.

Did he do driveway to driveway or did he actually position the shed in your yard using a mule or dolly system?

I removed a fence panel and he stuck it in the hole facing the driveway.

        My application was very simple

How much was that thing? It sounds like you can buy and build a new one instead of spending that much coin to move it...

I think I spent around $1700-$2000 to build it. Fully insulated, with A/C and wood flooring.

I honestly don't want to build another one, this one sucked enough to build.

Get several fence posts and roll it to the driveway. Did you build it on skids?

common sense says find a small business that sells these sheds and ask them what they charge to move your shed.

Have you seen the price of lumber? I know the price has started coming back down, but it is still high. It would very expensive to buy or build right now.

I'd just chalk the whole thing up as a bad idea and investment.

                        Fuck them kids.
