  • I need an appraisal of a non running truck. Any of yall work at a wrecking yard/LKQ

I have a 2007 Dodge that the tranny has been removed so it's a non running vehicle at this point. I need to get 3 quotes of its current salvage value. Do any of yall work at a wrecking yard or any place I can get some documentation of it's current value? I thought about having a dealer do it but they want me to have it towed to them and I'd rather not have to pay to have it towed there and back.
    Thanks!

Not that this will be helpful, but I imagine very little. $500 or near that. How's the engine? Sell it to someone who doesn't mind putting a tranny in it

I think I took some pictures up to local dealerships and they hooked me up. Bonded title, AMIRIGHT!

The engine and truck are in great shape. I bought the truck 2 years ago with a snapped input shaft. I took the tranny out and made some deals with companies to sponsor the parts and rebuild. Now the guy that has the tranny is mia along with about $5k in hard parts. Im in the middle of a divorce and my ex and her attorney are trying to get premium value for the truck. But its a non-running truck that doesnt have a tranny. So I want to get some quotes from places that I could take it to and get cash in hand on the spot. That way I'll have to split the actual value of the truck with my ex instead of the $25k that they're claiming its worth.

Got a couple of wetodds on your hands if they think an 07 dodge with no trans is worth 25k. Probably just some tactic to make you sell it so they can get some money.

Sounds like you should let her have it!

Exactly, sounds like she is offering to buy your half for $12.5K. I'd have the engine out of it when they show up to get it just for a little bonus for myself. They are so good at auto appraisal that they probably won't care.
