Selling a used car - what to look out for?

Meet directly across from the police station or at the police station next to a bunch of cop cars. Open carry to the sale. Don't say what you for a living, they'll probably just assume you're some manner of law enforcement. Fuck em if they don't like it. "It's necessary in my line of work, and that's all I can really say about it" or some shit like that. Let em think you're whatever they wanna imagine.
Talk to em on the phone first, don't let them just text. Get a name. Facebook stalk. Maybe even use a 3rd party seller depending on how paranoid you are about it.
Then there's the tags...WH

The Mustang is now gone, thanks for the advice in this thread. I had one shipped, though it turns out that I didn't need the money marker, my buyer banks with Chase, so we walked in together and had the money transferred on the spot. Fortunately not everybody gets shot in their driveway.
It really is a small world. The guy who bought the car lives in Utah now, but is originally from Plano, and went to the same high school I did, albeit a few years later. For those that don't know, I live in Folsom CA, which it makes the connection to Plano that much more interesting. Sorry H, there was no talk about fucking the Plano PD, my qualifying questions were centered on Bob Woodruff and the balloon festival. Come to find out we lived only a few major streets apart back in the day.

Too many people around here (Galleria / River Oaks area of Houston) have been robbed after being followed home lately.
A friend of a friend was literally shot in the face in his driveway last month. Drove a McLaren to a local restaurant, and either a valet got the address from an insurance card in the car (this was the initial suspicion at least) or he was followed from the valet stand, guy and his wife were met in their driveway as their gate closed, robbed of jewelry, etc. Probably could have been even worse - she was wearing a Cartier bracelet, and you can only get those off with a screwdriver. After threating her and shooting him, they finally left the couple and went in the house for a minute before leaving.
Hell it happened again one mile from us just last week (minus the face shooting).

We've had houses in the burbs (Arlington, the Woodlands, etc), and we've lived "in the city" (West 7th in FW, inner loop here in Houston)... we're not having kids so we're choosing to live "in the bubble" a bit longer.
We've started talking about maybe possibly looking at something (in a year or so) out in the Sugar Land area where our new business is based, but we're not sold on it...
