I have an acre up in the mountains, about 20minutes south of Breckenridge. One of my neighbors there just got his dish a couple weeks ago and he is simply raving mad at how good it is. He's getting 100mbps down. The speeds are about to be increased to 300mbps.
Before this his best option was a mifi router with Verizon (which has damn good service on that mountain). But the best he could get out of that was about 20mbps.
This motivates me to work faster at getting our barnominium built out there. I can simply take the family up there all summer long and still get my work done.

Starlink is fast at the moment but once there are a lot of subscribers it's going to slow down. I recently read an investor evaluation about the services potential revenue and they concluded that Musk is overstating the potential by about ten fold.Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.

So if I wind up paying $100 a month for 30-50mbps down and at least 10 up, I am still ahead.
