Purchase decisions

So I have worn down some converse shoes I have had for a long time. I love these shoes. I remember buying them and only worn them on certain occasions. So I decide to go to their web site to see what is available. I will not buy converse from here on out. On their front page they have BLM on it and how the design was influenced by BLM. Zero of my money will go to a company that supports this BS. I am sure there will be more as we go forward. Anyone else run into these companies?

I had no idea that was the case. Until a couple of years ago I wore surplus Marine Corps desert boots that I bought from LA police gear. I probably went through 20 sets of them before my stash ran out. Now I can still buy them but they're $340 a pair when I was paying 40 bucks a pair when they were surplus and I wear a pair out in 4 or 5 months. I have a very wide foot with a tall arch and it's nearly impossible for me to find shoes that fit. When I find some that fit me I'll go by 10 or 20 set and wear them until they're all gone.

The crappy thing is that Converse was my favorite brand of sneakers and I believe that they were built the best but I don't think I've worn a pair of sneakers in 20 years.

Corporations only cater to groups that they think will buy their products. Do you seriously think a company that makes work boots thinks that their target market is black people that are concerned about social justice and converting the nation to Marxism?

This is an unrelated but funny side note. When Mexicans see me they're usually quite concerned because I look like the law. They calm down dramatically when they look at my shoes and realize I'm wearing worn work boots. I see this happening almost daily and it's comical.
