I thought I read somewhere we had a board member that was a LEO for Keller/Roanoke area? I am curious to know what happened on 170 the other night around 3:00 AM?

It looked like a really bad wreck and almost looked as if someone was ejected from a car. I was driving down 170 earlier today and noticed a few people setting up a cross with fowers.

Anyone know what happened by any chance? It seems like really bad luck to hit another car or anything at all since it is pretty bare out here.

I am really curious. The only thing I can think of is fell asleep at the wheel or alcohol. You know, you drive on 170, it is pretty open, especially at 3:30 AM, not a lot of cars or objects to run into.

There were people there around 9 this morning as well looking thed crash seen. When I got off work about 30 mins ago there were more flowers and things there.

Maybe drunk? Passed out and swerved off the road? Geez.

So he was thrown from the car.. Damn.. RIP.

I wonder if he had his seat belt on? It is weird because I have lived on this side of town for a year now and I have seen 2 other wrecks at that same light.

I drive it every day almost. The only thing other than just falling asleep or drunken pass out is someone pulled out in front of him but didn't get hit and caused it. Some of the cross streets are on hills and the oncoming traffic can sometimes be hard to judge, especially in the dark.

I work in ATT building you pass when your westbound so I pass this 2-4 times a day. I saw the skid marks that start in the left turn lane and cross the median on Independence and they look like it was not that bad of wreck but if he was ejected he most likely hit pavement on Indendence so hopefully he went quick drunk or not. RIP
