  • Denton Auto Mechanics teacher Mr. White

    He passed away on 5/9 at the age of 84. A pretty good run as far as I can tell. I know there were a few people on here who also knew him. I was able to take his class either one or possibly two years during my Jr/Sr. years in high school and it was one of my favorite classes, ever. He used to drive an older blue fastback Mustang that sounded pretty damn tough and he was a really great teacher. I actually learned a lot in that class.

    James D. White Jim was born in western Cooke County near Hood on March 8, 1936, to Anna Louise Shaw White and Henry Milton White. Living in the country with few kids nearby, Jim and his grandpa, J.D. White, went fishing nearly every day. His sister, Jan, was born shortly

      I started auto shop the year after he retired. I had Mr. Watson. Sad to see these walking encyclopedias pass on. Men like these have forgotten more than I know about life, cars, and living. Rest in piece sir.
