Five pages of post about 1200 bucks. WTF. The government should not have passed a stimulus of any sort because they should have never shut us down in the first place. We've literally shot ourselves in the foot for no reason.

I really can't relate or sympathize with people who are so damn worked up about 1200 bucks.

$1200 to someone recently laid off can be rather important. The only ones I can't relate to IRS-wise are the ones who eagerly await their refunds every year, and complain when they don't get enough back or less than the year before because they were ignorant about adjusting their withholding.

With the 2.2 trillion dollar stimulus package our government is stealing from the US Taxpayers...

and then essentially throwing them back crums of only $1200.00... it's an insult to Americans everywhere.

It should be $12000.00 if the expect to make a difference and actually help keep people afloat.

$1200 ain’t a lot. Over $2 trillion in stimulus to make the banks really rich and giving most people peanuts is a huge scam. Then add to it, kids that can’t vote and aren’t even born are supposed to pay it all back? That’s a mega scam. To me it’s worse than payday loans. Our kids and grand children didn’t borrow this money and give it to banks. It’s not their debt.

If a dumbass takes out a payday loan, that is their debt.

What’s bad is that the economy is such a shit show that $1200 is a big deal to a lot of people. We got into this dynamic because of government over reach to begin with.

About starting a business. If the gov’t loosened their grip on my wallet, I could probably start a business and hire some people and set up a college fund to help out young people that grew up like I did. I can’t do that though, because 35% plus sales tax minus a few deductions goes to supply the gov’t teat.

Running a ponzi scheme is illegal for me, but our federal gov’t is running the world’s largest ponzi scheme, and people are so stupid now they don’t care. That’s a pretty strong indication the system will fail at some point.

Tens of millions of other people out there somehow manage to start a business and they face the same challenges you do. What do they have that you don't? I suspect they have a can do attitude instead of the whiny pessimistic attitude you have.
