Worked out well for me, and then a week later the country shut down.
Yeah I know some dealers were doing that (Meador). I'm looking at the "dealer discount" and the "employee discount". You should be able to get one for 6-7% under invoice right now. FCA has another $2k rebate but you can't stack it with their "employee price" one. There are $15,500 in current rebates most of them aren't stackable. The Penfed, Military and USAA ones are though and so are some of the lease return ones.

I should be able to use the USAA one but it's $500 on Wrangler/Gladiators and it can be stacked with the "employee discount" but you can't combine it with FCA's reduced rate financing. Doesn't really matter though since other lenders are giving money away right now.

Were you looking at a '19? Mine was a '19 so I am assuming this helped me because they wanted (at that time) to get rid of dead inventory. I don't know if that has changed with the way the market is today.

Bought the wife a little commuter vehicle to replace her 13 year old / 170k mile Hyundai Tucson. I'm grateful she likes modest cars. This one's a 2020 Forester, pretty loaded with all the electronic crap, heated seats and moonroof but no leather. Subaru doesn't have all the goofy pricing structure and rebate stacking you get with Ford, GM, and Mopar. The finance guy walked over to us with a first deal of nearly 20% off MSRP and 72 month 0%. I could have maybe been a dick and fought over another few hundred bucks, but didn't see the point. They were happy to get a sale and we were happy with the deal. They tinted the glass for free, heh. It only had 4.9 miles on it, the lowest I've ever seen on a new car.

          Nice car!
Which Subaru dealership? I went with my niece when she was looking to buy a new car, and it was an easy process for sure. She got a Crosstrek at Grapevine Subaru, and I didn't have to argue and fight either, lol.

I bought my truck like a month before this shit went south. I differed my payments for a few months, but it was still a normal car deal.

I'm having a hard time deciding on new mustang, or 90's shit box to fix up. I want a project to consume my time, but I also want something I can just get in and have fun.

2020 Gladiator. So I did get an alternate story from Classic. Their pricing systems aren't calculating rebates with the employee pricing properly. At least that's what they told me when I show up to buy something and then get quoted $4000 more than what's on their site. So 0-2 with Jeep dealers. I think I'm pretty much done with new cars dealers again.

That sounds like bullshit. I guess they think they can still get top dollar for those things. I would wait a few months and I bet it will be a different story.

I can't wait for the car dealership model to be done away with. Going the tesla route will make this shit way easier

We looked at 2014 Audi RS5 back in march, then after the sell of our house fell through 4 hours before closing we decided against buying it, but I've been watching it on their website still and the price is down 25% since march.
