Bought/ordered my 1997 Cobra in Oct. 1996. Still have it, 25 years now, still runs and drives, spent waaaaay too much money on it to ever sell it.

I think this sentiment is also what keeps marriages together after so many years.

If Dave Ramsey knew I flipped enough cars/motorcycles while my wife was in college to keep us debt free and pay off her new 08 Versa Hatch in 6 months, he would high five me. Plus it keeps me entertained. I very rarely lose money on a used vehicle.

While I keep my wife in a new ride I love unique toys that need a little bit of love and can be flipped if needed. When she up and quit her dream job my paid off clunkers paid off her 18 Platinum Murano. My only regret is that insurance sucks on 4 cars now where it use to be like two full coverage and a little extra for non daily drivers.

Ordered my 2006 stang beginning of of that year and picked up in April same year. Still have it and running. Just maintaining it for now. Putting $$ aside to do full rebuild

18 months maybe for my vehicles. 8 years for my wifes.

So many i wish i owned longer or still owned today. I’ve owned 42 vehicles and i am 38 years old. I really feel like its an addiction. Always looking for my next fix! We owned 5 at one time last year. Down to 3 now and i really hope i can keep it that way for a while.
