  • Would anyone like a chocolate lab?

One thing that sucks about living outside of the city is the fucking trash people that dump dogs out here all the damned time. Normally we can get Denton animal control to come out and pick them up, but today we had this Chocolate Lab show up out here and she is really sweet...has a great personality, and she looks to be pure bred. However, she obviously has not been taken care of very well....she's very skinny, very dirty, and her nails are so long that she has a hard time walking on concrete. I hate to see her go to the pound, so I thought I'd throw a few pics out here before I call them...this would make someone a good dog, and she looks to be pretty young too.

Let me know if interested...I'm out near the edge of Denton and Wise county....not too far from TMS.

Tim, not sure if she is housebroken at all yet, but I think she's probably young enough still to be taught, and she's very mellow so that's good if she were to be an inside dog. I'm thinking I'll probably keep her around here through the weekend. Just let me know if your friend is interested....I'll shoot you my cell number in PM, give me a ring or text b/c I'm going to be in & out a bit tomorrow and Sunday.

Here's a couple of pics of Buddy, who Jeff found dumped on a roadside in Sachse 6 years ago. It was the middle of summer and someone dumped him alongside a mailbox in 100 plus degree temps. Jeff saw him in the morning and Buddy was still there 6 hours later, He went back and picked him up after trying to find the owner along the road. He is now 6 years old, 116 lbs. and lives in Murphy. A good shop dog!

Hope you find a home for the chocolate Lab!
