Making a trip to Garland...hotels

Will be headed to Garland in a month or two. Usually we stay in the area of 75 and 635 (Plano area). Is that about the closest good area? Anything closer to Jack Coleman tennis area on W. Miller Rd?

Oh dear, there's nothing in that area that I'd be comfortable staying at. IMO, your best bet is to hit one of the hotels up in N Garland off of the tollway(190). There are a couple your mainstream chain offerings there, or if you prefer a BnB, there's one less than 2mi from your tennis place. https://www.lucillesbb.com/

Those are pretty nice hotels on that side of the lake if you don't mind the drive in for the event.

There is a decent Embassy Suites on 75 & 635 that can get you to Miller in 10 minutes or like someone else posted there is some new stuff by hilton and marriot on 190 east of 75 towards North Garland road., I'd stay there before staying anywhere near Garland, the Bass Pro shop stuff maybe expensive, though I hear they do take cowskin rugs as trade...
