Never met any of the people on this board or the old one in person Have reading since 2005 on old board. So far this year my girlfriend of three years had bleeding on her brain , collapsing on new year day and in a coma three days before she passed. Four weeks ago my arm swelled up so bad I could not use it ( have small tears on my tendon in left arm ). Friday I went to my last appointment to be released back to work .walking into office I could not catch my breath or even talk . Had friend come and get me to go to the ER room. Have blood clots in both lungs and have been on blood thinner IV since then. After more test blood thinner is working and can go home today. Tired and just venting to myself by typing this out . Doctors says I could have died if I didn’t get care when I did. Never know what will happen to you day to day. Getting old sucks lose your friends and family and end up alone in life.
TLDR. Life can suck .

It's hell getting old! Take you doctor seriously and follow his orders.

In a lot of ways 2019 has been a bastard for us too, but on the bright side my sister had a little girl this morning.

Went through the same thing with blood clots in 2011 and 2012. I was healthy and running 3 miles a daily. Had several widow makers in my leg and lungs. Had I seen this thread sooner, I might have come to see you.

Getting older sucks. I'm sporting two stents that I didn't have 6 months ago. Still, its good to be alive.
