Get a Civic, Corolla, or Fiesta. All get over 30mpg and will be far less hassle than that damned Prius.

My DD for the last 4 years is a 2010 Honda Insight. Fluid & filter changes, a pair of front brake pads, wiper blades, and the regular 12v battery have been the only maintenance expenses. It has averaged a solid 45+ mpg's the entire time. I wouldn't want to ride in the back seat, that space is for smaller people.
