Why would there be dash cam footage of a random rear end collision? Maybe I should record all my driving excursions, just for good measure.

Was threatened with having my bike impounded for that once while in LV. What a dick nozzle.

You should, people change their story after they report the accident to their insurance and state to them you cause the accident. Ive considered it after all the claims Ive worked on to avoid this in case Im in an accident.

A big rig was parked in the left lane from Heritage and 287 all the way until 287 dumped into westbound I20.

I wished I could have pitted him.

When I finally got past him, I found out why. He was busy talking on the phone...

LOL.. if you're serious.. L3 makes a crash sensor that hooks to a dvr and camera for your car. It loops a 30 second stream to the DVR when not recording, and in the event of a crash it turns on the record device and has the 30 seconds leading up to the incident as well as everything after.

Thinking about getting a mount for my iphone and recording off it during my commute to work.

You think its funny but it happens all the time. Our insured gets pissed because the other carrier denies due to word vs word, no witnesses, police report doesnt help in a word vs word situation. You're out $500 for your deductible plus money for a rental because you didnt want to spend a few extra dollars a month for coverage. Claim goes to arb and no one wins because not enough evidence to support who was at fault.

Cant tell you how many times this happens at work and I get an ear full about it from the customer...

Someone makes a sudden lane change and you rear end him. Are you going to take the blame?
