  • Gadsden Flag License Plates.

I've been kicking around the idea of getting a Gadsden Flag license plate for my 5.0 but I wasn't sure if it would be a great idea. I guess my biggest fear would be a bad LEO encounter, followed by some liberal Obama nuthugger with an axe to grind - on my paint.

    Any thoughts?

That's pretty bad ass! Most of the LEOs I know would sport the Gadsden themselves..

Most of the O nut-huggers probley don't know what it is , or what it stands for.

Yeah, I like that one too. I don't like the prices so much.

            From MyPlates chat:
you: how much of the plate price goes to the state?

(MyPlates): My Plates has guaranteed a return of at least $25 million to the State during the initial 5 year contract term. Per plate sold, the State receives between 30% and 90% of the purchase price in addition to $8 annually from each plate sale. My Plates bears all costs of sales, marketing, and operating the business. The state pays no upfront money for this program.
So, that's where some of it goes. Basically, extra tax for the plate. How ironic.

no, I looked into that. Classic status sure but not antique. These have to renewed yearly like normal plates.

This would look really good on my white truck, but I'm too cheap to pay extra for a plate

It gives you the option to pay for your plates in 10 year increments.

Hmmm.... I wonder who I need to sweet talk. There's always a little old lady willing to help a nice, young boy.
