I bought one for my wife for Christmas. She loves it. You can share e-books with other Nook owners. The browser is not necessarily user friendly, but it works fine on our home network. Downloads new books very quick. The latest firmware update added a lot of cool features like book marking a particular page and improved speed. And just about anywhere you go these days has a hot spot, so she can log on in McDonald's, Hotels, coffee shops, Library, etc..
