    Parker County deputy SHOT HIMSELF in the foot!!

    That was an unexpected twist lol.

    Update: Parker County deputy shot himself while investigating illegal deer blind

    The Parker County Sheriff’s Office now believes the deputy who was shot while looking for an illegal hunter was injured by his own service weapon.

          Article I read said that the gun was in its holster and that DPS was testing it. Though I'm skeptical of this....

                  The head sheriff (I know that’s not the correct title) was on the news the other day saying he watched the body cam video and could tell he was shot by a suppressed gun. Old country boy sheriff was pissed. He swore to hang whoever did it. This is hilarious.

                      ROFL!! Thanks I needed the laugh. And thankfully its not johnson county, but if you've seen the fat laughable derps we've got around here, you wouldn't be surprised. Of course when you pay $11/hr what else are you going to get.

                          Its is quite common with those style of index (trigger) finger released holsters to have accidental discharges as muscle memory causes the finger to land on the trigger. So much so that lots agencies have banned them from duty.

                            Pretty sure they've already confirmed it was the backup weapon strapped to his ankle inside of a holster.
