And just curious (and you can message me if you want) but how are you guys planned out financially for retirement? I'm not (quite) near retirement age yet but I've started getting more and more serious about it and hoping to retire early.

I know, right!
I retired about 4 years ago, it's so relaxing, people say that you'll be bored, not me I'm always doing something with someone. And if I don't feel like it I just chill and do nothing. Though there is always something to do with the house or cars.
