Call "Adam the answer man" off Plano Rd in Dallas; 214-553-5450. He sells parts really cheap and will walk you through the repair. Just tell him the model number and he will tell what is wrong with it.
Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.

Just replaced my oven today. That fucker was 22 years old and they quit making parts for it.

We have a GE fridge with the freezer on bottom.

Preface: the fridge started making a noise that I can only describe as sounding like a small gas 2 stroke engine underwater. The noise wasn’t coming from the freezer.

Yesterday afternoon, we noticed the fridge wasn’t making noise and that the fridge went up to 59* and the freezer kept decreasing down to -8*. The freezer fan is working. We unloaded everything from the fridge into igloo coolers. Overnight, the fridge went back to normal (37*) and so did the freezer (0*). I’m not sure if it regulated itself because we removed the contents from the fridge or what.

Had that happen once before as well. Forgot what the problem was (and what they replaced) but the back wall of the freezer would also freeze up and then thaw.

Called them today for problems with the dishwasher. Might look on youtube too. There are tons of vids for appliance repair diagnostics.
