Ticket question.

I just got pulled over going to class at UTD. I made a left at the 4-way stop sign on Floyd, and when I got on campus there was a cop in a white unmarked car who flagged me over. It was Richardson P.D. I asked him what I did wrong and he said I made an illegal left turn. He said there were flashing lights saying I couldn't turn left. I'm going back later tonight to see exactly what the sign said. This little incident put me running 15 minutes late to class. While the officer was writing the ticket I saw no less than 8 cars come by who made the same left I did.
I was wondering if there was anything I could do. I normally wouldn't mind, but I haven't had a ticket in 1 year, 1 month. I'm currently working for a valet company who mandates to be notified about all traffic violations.
Any help would be great, but I feel like I'm screwed and I'm just going to have to pay to keep it off my record.

The only thing you can do is go back and see if it does indeed say no left turn. If it does, well, there is always next year.

To the OP, just go to the court and ask for deffered. Dont get another ticket for how ever many days they require and call it a day.

I know that stop sign. There are time restrictions for turning left. When I did night school I always went through and pulled a u turn. Stupid but I didn't want a ticket.

Do you mean going north on Floyd and left onto Lookout? is so Google maps doesn't show time restrictions, just no left turn.
