Question for those with pools ...

How big of a bitch is it to heat a pool? Say the people who have pools that never get out of the 70's, want it to be able to get up to 85-90 degrees. Expensive as hell to do?

SVO have any hookups on heaters even good used ones? I have an old Laars Series 2 that worked like a champ until this year. 400k btu natural gas. I was thinking of replacing the electric parts in it (the rest had been replaced 2 years ago) but don't know if I should sink the 600 or so into that or just save up for a new heater.
