I worked on his Zoh-slut after he popped a curb bustin a Uhey after a gtg, ahhh the memories...

At least 14-15 years old. I believe it was a little girl, iirc.

Yea, I think Hunter is 14 now. He’s a great kid. Fortunately he’s in a stable situation with his Mom. I haven’t met his step dad but I’ve heard he’s a pretty decent guy.

I stand corrected, it's good to hear he's doing well.

It just kicks me in the nuts that I never got around to reconciling with him. He made a few mistakes (nothing horrible) and I just separated myself from him. It’s a long story. But I know if I had just opened the door for him that we would have rebuilt our friendship.

Shane and I met when he was in 6th grade and I was in Jr High. There are a lot of stories there. Basically he was a little brother to me.

It’s going to be one of my greatest regrets in life that I didn’t square all that away before his passing. If you’re even in a situation where you’ve got an issue with a loved one, get it resolved. Dont’ wait. You’ll deeply regret it.

It’s all good. You might have gotten confused with his older kids from his first marriage. That wasn’t a good situation. One of his boys died a few years ago in the Marines. I think a lot of his personal issues popped up after that but I don’t know to what extent.

We still don’t know the cause of death. Shane was never one to do drugs beyond an occasional joint or some beer. I remember that he got caught up on pain killers once but he checked himself into a center to get it out of his system. He didn’t want to end up like his Mom. So either something really went wrong with him over the last few years or there was a physical issue that got him suddenly like a stroke.

I know it's hard but, things happen and people change, sometimes good, most times bad. I've had to separate myself from people I cared deeply for and one stupid reason or another we went our separate ways. It sucks but when you make a decision to separate, you have to stick to your guns...

                            Fuuuuuuu!

I thought he was older than that.

Guess I better quit fucking around with high blood pressure and ignoring it.

Addiction is a subtle, sneaky, and patient motherfucker, that never truly goes away. We are getting to the age now, that neither answer would surprise me quite honestly.

Shit's still sinking in... bye Shane, my condolences to your family.
