the VERY short of it:
My grandfather has stage 4 cancer and we are fighting to get guardianship over him from one of his literally mentally unstable sons. This same son physically hurt him the other day.
His estate is to the point where it is out of money after our first legal filing, the son filed his own guardianship paperwork so we were told this will automatically get kicked to district court.
He is out of money in his estate and not safe with this son involved. Does anyone have any contacts or know or have used before some connection to get a probono lawyer????? It is an emergency guardianship that has already been filed and awaiting a hearing.
The APS has been involved, police have been involved, criminal trespass from nursing facilities and hospitals both filed, death threat and citations - this is a real situation with a mans safety on the line. There is so much more to the story just posting this on all the boards i am a member of to try and get a lead!
