Where to buy shims for car lift?

Does anyone have a recommendation where I can find some shims to install my car lift with? I've check lowes and hd so far with no luck. One post will need about 1/16-1/8 worth of shims to get it perfectly level.

Stop over at Vitz metals on 75. Get some small pieces of steel and make your own

If they don't have any shorts, give me some dimensions and thickness and I will check my pile of scrap

tractor supply or hardware store. nothing special about them. mine came with shims . but then the sob only lasted 3 years .

We used fender washers.

I stopped at lowes in McKinney and found some composit shims for doors and what not, gonna try them out and see if they are gonna be strong enough to support it. I won't need much shim so we will see.

Put those composite shims in a vise and crank down. I just did, wasn't something I'd bet my life on. Just my .02.

Yeah well turns out the sales man was wrong and the lift came with a few shims. Got it about 80% complete tonite, hope to finish it up Sunday and get my c10 in the air!!

Triumph, bought it from national auto tools out of Fort Worth. So far I've been really happy with it!!
