There's a drive thru car wash close to the intersection of 114/377 near the Walmart, next to discount tire. Cleans decent but bring a shammy because the blow driers suck.

If you go into downtown Roanoke right next to babe's chicken is a coin op do it yourself car wash, only has 2 or 3 bays if I remember right.

I'm hoping to get the Challenger out to TMS tomorrow and check out the show. I didn't register because we're supposed to have my daughter this weekend but it's her best friend's birthday tomorrow so now we've got the weekend free

Used the little car wash next to the oil change place, in Justin, this morning! THANKS!! I think they said 1855 pre registered this year. I know they have the hotel packed and the parking garage was packed full (5 levels) of Mopars last night for the Friday night get together.

From reading their Facebook page it sounded like a cluster fuck out there. We drove by to and from going to breakfast and the line was already stupid long

We went out really early and spent 3 hours in line after line before we got in. We left after 3pm and there were still 3 parking lots full of cars lined up trying to get in. People here at the hotel from Las Vegas flew in, rented a car and spent 2 hours in line and were told it would be at least an hour and half longer before they could get parked to walk in as spectators. They left without going in. The time and money to get out here and run into that nonsense!

The way they did it. You lined up in rows in one parking lot. They would roll a single file line through a gate to the next lot and line up in rows again....and do that in 4 parking lots after you made it through the line around the back side of the loop around the racetrack. It was a COMPLETE CLUSTER.... It was so bad even the new cars were overheating.

I rolled the wagon out there with my dad. That was the most unbelievable clusterfuck I have ever seen. People we talked to that got there early had been parked in the same spot for five hours. We walked around the various parking lots for an hour, and left.

It looked like the 1700 registered cars showed up, but we counted 13 cars exactly that were built before the year 2000. It looked like the world's largest Dodge dealership. Even the fans of late model Mopars seemed bored with the turnout.

Was there an explanation given for why they had thousands of pissed off people waiting in parking lots all day?

We took 2 old cars...73 Challenger and 71 Charger. There was a smaller lot inside that had 25 or so older cars and then you would see an occasional classic among the newer cars. Keep in mind this was never "billed to be" a muscle car and classic show. This is an open Mopar event that is mainly sponsored by and promoted by "Modern Mopar" clubs and businesses. So to say it wasn't a good muscle car show is not fair to what the show is mainly geared towards.

After spending 15 years in North Texas , when I heard that there was going to be 1500 some cars there . My very 1st thought was, 1450 new Challengers and Chargers and 50 old ones.

Mopar shows in the DFW area are typically weak

Closest one is at 114 and 377. I think they recycle the water so sometimes it smells very rank.
