  • Car wash near Texas Motor Speedway?

For those that live near the TMS. Are there any self service car washes near the track? Looks like the only one in Justin is a automatic drive through? What about Haslet or any just east of the track?

When do you need to wash? I live close to the track, also there is a wash in Roanoke that is a drive through but will also do hand washes.

We are driving down Friday for the show on Saturday. So we will need to wash 4 vehicles (2 late model Challengers and 2 Mopar muscle cars) either Friday evening or Saturday morning depending on the weather. There are about 1700 cars suppose to be registered so I figure I need a game plan on where to go for a car wash instead of just driving around looking for one.

You are welcome to stop by and wash here, just double checked and there is a self wash about a mile and a half from me. This is all 10-15min from the track and is within 3-4 miles of 35W

They say the mind is the first to go! Was half awake this morning and my brother was hounding me about finding a place to wash. I did a brief search and did not see the topic we discussed a few weeks ago. Think it was buried in a thread.. anyway....here we are! Good conversation is worth having twice!

Just noticed he (my brother) asked on the Mopar site last night. He must really really be worried about finding a car wash! Lol. It is a one day, outdoor show. I plan to rinse the bugs off and go with that!

And what was he thinking asking on the Mopar forum? Like they will have better info than my DFW contacts? Right..

Since you lived around that area. Do you recall any public parking garages anywhere near by? Just in case the weather takes a turn I would like to have somewhat of a plan. We have had the car for nearly 2 years and it has just over 500 miles on it. It will be the first time it has ever been on the highway or sat outside for more than a couple of hours.

You mean like a parking ramp for shelter if it was to storm and hail ?

Nothing out there that I know of like that , pretty rural area

There is a garage at the Texas Motor Speedway Condo's, but you would probably get asked to leave. Buccees is nearby, all the gas pumps are covered.

I'll be out there that afternoon with the wagon. What is everyone else bringing?
