Sub optimal? Who talked like that?

It's unknown at this time, but we will circle back to it during next weeks conference call. I'll be out of pocket until then.

Seems like a perfect way to obliterate workplace trust.

              Somewhat ..

he did not say who said what , and he gave us a opportunity to roast him but, of course no one did.

Reminds me of an interview question for a position at Sewell I was going for a year ago.

"tell me about the worst boss you ever worked for and what you think made him a bad boss"
Sorry, I would rather not talk bad about someone behind their back without them here to defend themselves. Besides any bad boss I worked for in the past at least taught me what not to do.

I am not sure if they really want you to sit there and piss and moan about someone or if anyone ever actually does. I think I would have answered this situation the same. "I got nothing bad to say about anyone. Can I go back to work now making you all your moneys?"
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

I've had NCO's do that to my teams in the past (w/o the spreadsheet), there were times when it worked out okay.

Reminded me of something I'd see in the military. Problem is among enlisted, folks could work things out in a non-PC manner. Whether a bunch of cussing and shoving or a fight. Typically one person or another knew what everyone thought about them already.

The civilian world does not have a lot of tolerance for these things so it's usually best to keep your opinions to yourself. Then just do your job and go home and forget about the pricks.

That's pretty horrible. Sounds like something my current manager would do.

That's why I live working both sides, civ/mil. I can turn to a coworker and speak my mind fully. But I work with grown-ups that aren't sniffling bitches crying to HR or ER that I called him the most miserable fucking person I have ever met, told him exactly what I thought of him and his constant complaining and in the same breath asked if he was going to chow with me. I've learned, in my environment, that if you have a problem with someone you absolutely need to clear the room and address it immediately. Nothing good comes from festering when you live and work in such a tight circle.

I just do things to make the people I dont like seem crazy. Little mumble their address under my breadth when they walk by. They start screaming and yelling while I play the victim. You know, petty shit like that.

That's the nitpicky type of stuff that employees like to bother their managers about in the corporate world.. Or pen tapping, or some other stupid pidly bullshit.. As if the complainer does nothing that irritates others.. I just put on headphones.

No doubt. In the corporate world you spend maybe 30hrs arpund someone's habits, at most. We spend 24/7 within insult throwing range. 8 of us living and office in the same 16'×32' tent.
