  • Best place to buy a lift

Need a lift and compressor for my new shop, where are the best places to look? I am not sure about craigslist, half the people I have talked to it isn't plugged in and I cant test it.

    Any help would be great.

Found that same issue. There are some sellers offering up lifts that are sitting on the floor of a warehouse installed for $XXXX on facebook marketplace. That's about as good as Ive seen, at least if they are putting it up, they have to be sure it works.

I bought mine on eBay about 10 years ago... it's been great, in fact, my Corvette is sitting out there on it right now.

Looks like you want a used lift, but if you ever decide on a new one, Gemini Lifts is a local outfit in Burleson. I bought a 9000 ib. 2 post lift (GP-9F) from them many years ago. Performed without any problems and was easy 2 man install. Just rented a hammer drill for the foundation bolts. My son and I tilted up the posts. It was less than $2500 then.

Best Buy Auto Equipment, I think there is a pick up warehouse near Dallas. Look at the prices on the website. Thats where I got my rotisserie and was pleased.

They didn't let the car settle onto the locking mechanism. After you pass a lock (the locks snap as you lift the car), you are suppose to let the load down slowly until it stops on the lock it just passed. The video shows the snap of the lock as he lifts the car, but it doesn't look like he lowers the car onto the lock.

lift arms not locked in place. mine lock as soon as it lifts about 3 in . also looks like the pass side arm gave up.
