Hardened steel ?

Anyone deal with or can machine a hardened steel plate for me ? I've priced some online. Can give details over PM. Basically a 8"x20" 3/4" thick piece sharpened on one side with 2 holes in it. Its a blade for a tree shear.

Try D&R tool and saw on Harry Hines Blvd or Bowreys Machine on 10th in Plano.

I could help you with that. Is this something your building or just needing a new blade for? By the time you buy material, machine it, treat it, and finish machine (possibly grind depending on hardness) you'll probably get out cheaper buying a new blade from the manufacturer.
