  • Inflatable hot tubs?

These have really good reviews for the most part on Amazon and Walmart.com. Anyone on here have any first hand experience? We have a small back yard and the idea of an inflatable hot tub I could set up for a couple weeks at a time seems great..

If you plan to actually use for extended periods get a used one off of Craigslist.

This is great time of year to buy one btw

I can not give away used hot tubs that work or need very little work to be able to use. There is no way I would buy an inflatable one. It would be great for an elk hunt though....

Why not? My guess is because that people think that its gross. Something about a used hot tub... seems kinda nasty.

So you are saying it would be like sitting in a bath tub of rice crispie treats, after the rice crispies dissolve?

I bought the intex bubble spa. For what it is, it's OK. What I don't like about it is as soon as you take the cover off, which has to stay on to stay heated, it starts to lose heat. The bubble cycle last about 30 minutes and by then it's already cooling down. Being 110 it does use some electricity. This time of the year i usually turn the heater down at night then in the morning set the heater as hot as it will go and by the time I get home and clean up and get in its nice and warm. When I buy a house I will get a real one. Hope this helps. Edit: mine is setup in my backroom which is a sunroom with windows and entry door, so it stays cooler than being outside. When I use it I open the windows and door to let the steam escape.

Every hot tub you have ever sat in is a used one.
