Stumbled upon this while perusing my normal military aviation forums.

Aircraft 101

Looks like the guy has put a fairly useful primer together for the overall details behind how things work on a theoretical level with 21st century avionics.

Most of this stuff is basic for someone with an engineering or aviation systems background, but for the "unwashed" it might be informative.

Most of it is geared for the F-35 but the overall info can be used for similar systems in use across the board.

Don't know if this is just hearsay. But what was that bigger military plane that a few people said "That thing shouldn't actually be able to take off"?

There's a ton of experimental aircraft that look weird and unlike anything resembling airworthy aircraft that have been tested that can sustain flight and have good manners.....just depends on the end goal as to whether or not it makes it to production.
