There may be a reason why they are dumping the dirt. If it is contaminated then only certain places can dispose of it and every load costs the contractor money. This is all typical process for cleaning up a contaminated site. If you want someone to test the dirt I have a group down in Houston that does all of my work exclusively. They have a local office too. I am sure they can get it done for a few hundred dollars and write you a report on the findings. Let me know if you want their info, they are well known and trusted by institutional real estate investors.
If the dirt is contaminated you are going to need to sue the contractor and whoever is having the pool built.Originally posted by racrguyWhat's your beef with NPR, because their listeners are typically more informed than others?Originally posted by racrguyVoting is a constitutional right, overthrowing the government isn't.

Not this contractor, but excavators for pool companies. Every time there is a pool going in, we either catch a truck trying to dump, or they come to our office to see if we need any fill to build up our house pads.

This is what 2 pool companies told me. Im going to the city today to pull all the pool permits in the last month or two and going to drive around to find the site. The two dirt types are totally different. The largest bunch is a sandy light brown mix. This crap they dumped yesterday is rocky clay.Originally posted by LeahBest balls I've had in my mouth in a while.

We typically grade the dirt down or we catch them in time to run them off.
