Is it just me or has Arlington gone waaay downhill in the past 10 years? I don't remember it being that bad when I lived there back in the 90s. I read the local news there frequently and it just seems like there's always some major crime or police chase there.

Yeah The eastern corridor that rode 360 was always sketchy, true. I see this started in Ft. Worth but it always seems like if theres a police chase on 20 or 30 it ends in Arlington. lol

Grand Prairie pretty much started throwing up on Arlington some 20 years ago.

90's was 20 years ago, I lived in Arlington 10 years ago 05-08 and it was sketchy back then.

I was just saying I've been up here almost 10 years and have been seeing the city in the news a lot for violent crime. Haven't lived in Arlington in 20 years.

I wonder how many of the steady stream of 18 wheeler accidents lately have "foreign" drivers.

Actually yes, and that came from a corporal in the APD.

^^^ a distraction for moving a big shipment...?

The whole metro is getting more like... scattered shit, not sure how to describe the scuzziness. Growing pains and lax police presence I guess. Reminds me of Chicago.
