Yep. Final race against 405 Shane. Shane dipped a quick right and got it in the trailer. Probe stopped dead in the street. Pot was split due to a drivers meeting note that if the race got called offf due to cops they would split it. Bird Boyz Racing feels they were set up. Look them up on fb for their side of the story. I won't post the private pages here but that's the just of it.

On that note. Jerry Bird had a gap on Shane when the finish line man called the race before the starter got the word.

I don't know, how about using one of the tracks around here ? Street racing kinda lost its coolness when these cars started hitting 150 plus... Yeah I know, I'm getting old. Spent many a night on Emerald and California Crossing, was known to participate on occasion, but damn, these aint street cars anymore . Even Big Chief is reigning that shot in.. Why lose your shit when you can do it legal ?

i might be paraphrasing here, but if you ask any of THOSE guys, they will say "the street is the equalizer."

those are big money races. $16,000 cash on some illegal shit is gonna bring a lot of hot heads and chest bumpers.

I concur, and also get the street being an equalizer but they're also equalizers on the track, like tire size. These cars are not streetcars in many cases and too many deaths have occurred on the street in the past. Just my thoughts on it.

I stopped after seeing Crazy Mo on America's Most Wanted. He drives what is likely the world's fastest outlaw 10.5 car but is currently wanted for a second degree murder charge tied to street racing. His car has come to the US and raced but he doesn't usually leave Qatar.
