Huge fan of the TL. You can check the vin and see if it falls under the "problem tranny" list.Originally posted by davbrucasI want to like Slow99 since people I know say he's a good guy, but just about everything he posts is condescending and passive aggressive.
Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?
You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.

Bro, I got Leslie an 08 Explorer and she couldn't be happier with it. They've come a long way on their engineering. I'm thinking of getting me another 06+ as a daily when I get back. It would be like driving a go-cart after that huge Navigator.
If she doesn't want to go the SUV route, then I'd say either a CTS or TL, but with a 9K limit, you're not going to find much in the low miles department. Remember my Jaguar X-Type? Those cars drive pretty nice and are AWD. I always used it on ice days and it was awesome.
