You guys did such a great job helping me find my daily a couple months ago, no good deed goes unpunished.
So the 'ol Navigator is getting up there in age and miles. Been reliable as hell, but now that my daughter is 5, we don't need as much space for junk that comes along with lugging a baby around.
She's taken the G35 for a spin a couple times and loves the idea of getting into a mid-size sedan, but she doesn't need the sportiness or higher price tag that would come with becoming a two-G family.
Here are the requirements:
• Budget: < $9,000
• < 100K Miles (Happy with 80K, will settle for 99K if it's otherwise the right car with a good record of reliability)
• No econoboxes please.
• Doesn't have to be super-luxurious, but leather is a big plus.
• Must be auto and be able to get out of it's own way. (No 10+ sec 0-60)
• German cars in this price range scare me on maintenance costs, feel free to prove me wrong.
• "Honda's are too boring looking."
I've pointed her to an 01-03 Acura TL, and she's liking what she's seeing. I know the auto trans in those cars isn't bulletproof, but it seems to be solid otherwise, from what I've heard.
That's about all I've got. What do y'all think?
