  • Fatality Motorcycle Crash

Just saw a really bad accident involving a motorcycle and a mini van at valley view and luna. Stay safe out there. It was a newer 2010+ Black sportbike.

I did it right off the bat, on my brother's ninja about a week after he got it.

I don't have a bike anymore, but for 3 years it was my only mode of transportation. Never wreaked, but it wasn't due to a lack of people in cars trying to kill me.

It also wasn't due to your lack of self-preservation instinct. I seem to remember a story of triple the speed limit on 121 one night.

            But did I die? 183 in a 60 isn't too bad.

I'm actually wanting to go full midlife crisis mode and get an R1. That Shelby got me addicted to speed now.

I had a high school friend who did that a few years back. Two weeks later he was dead.

                      This statement confuses me.

I had 3 different motorcycles as I was growing up. Wrecked all 3 because I like speed too much. I was very lucky, didn't break any bones in any of the crashes. I swore I would never get one as an adult because I would probably kill myself on it.

I sold my Harley recently...too many friends getting killed on these things. My two boys are too young to lose their dad right now.

same here, i'd love to make my commute 15 minutes as opposed to 45, but i would die in the process.

i rode in a 750 rwhp ZL1 yesterday at lunch, and although i've been thinking about trading my truck off on a fun car again, i just dont see myself having the self control in something that fast every day.

I waited til I was 25 to get my first one. Rode 3 years, nearly everyday with only minor, "learning curve" type crashes. Was nearly killed by other drivers on a weekly basis but the risk is still worth the reward IMO. Makes you a much better driver too. I consider picking one up every spring.
