  • Moxie's at the Crescent in Uptown

I had lunch at Moxie's in the Crescent in Uptown. This is a Canadian chain of restaurants that opened their first US location in Dallas. They are opening another in Houston soon. One of the owners or the owner is the guy who owns the Stars hockey team.

Brent can probably give us a review of the food. I had the guac and salsa, some sushi rolls and some roasted cauliflower as appetizers. Then I had the steak house salad as an entrée. It was all good to me but I'm no expert. The place is probably going to be about $20 for lunch. So expensive but not retarded.

Anyway, fuck the food. The point of this post is the girls. The place is chock full of Canadian girls that rotate out to different locations every few months. It's like a twin peaks where they dress the girls very nice. The talent there is, and I don't use this term lightly.... jaw dropping.

This would be a great place to go before or after a Stars or Mavs game. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

They certainly have a large talent pool to choose from. The women in Vancouver and Montreal are stunning. Toronto slightly less so

I was there with my boss and an ex Navy seal I know who now does sales for a title company. I think this is going to be our go to place for lunch from here on out when he comes to town.

I went to one in Toronto (well, Mississauga, technically) a couple times and it was alright but didn't seem to be anything special. It was actually pretty dead..

Yeah, and a couple side things. After 101 days of voluntary unemployment (which was amazing) I'm working for the man again, but partially doing my own thing as well. The day job is still focused on upstream and midstream equipment though. I see it as a time-killer gig while I work out some other things, but I took a regional sales mgr role (handling Mid-Con US) in the Energy Systems and Controls group of a big global company.

(On the side we're looking at some franchise stuff, and I'm also doing some energy industry writing with some specific goals)

I didn't know you've been up there. We have a plant in Mississauga.
