Tostitos “Party Safe” bag wants to get you home safe on Super Bowl Sunday

I think we can all agree that drinking and driving is a horrible idea. That doesn’t seem to stop people from doing it though. In an effort to eliminate that temptation, the Party Safe bag includes a sensor that detects alcohol on a user’s breath. If alcohol is detected, the sensor on the front of the bag will change to a red steering wheel with an Uber code and a message saying “Don’t Drink and Drive.”

The bag also has an NFC chip embedded that will allow you to tap the bag with your phone in order to call yourself an Uber. Tostitos has partnered with Uber and Mothers Against Drunk Driving to offer corn chip fans $10 off an Uber ride via the Party Safe bag.
