I have spent my entire life being fat and decided to change that. Over the last month I have changed up my diet and have lost 46lbs. Just today I was cleared to start working out after my hernia surgery and did my first workout ever. Never been a member of a gym and started up a membership. I cant do any lifting yet till the hernia is completely healed but I did a solid couple hours of cardio doing a few miles on the tread mill, a mile on an epelitical machine (holy crap that was hard) and another 5 miles on a bike with it on variable resistance. I know I will be sore like crazy tomorrow but I am so stoked to get into shape for the first time ever. I am blessed to have so many good friends to help me and go workout with me nearly every day. I am going to start off slow with every other day doing a couple hours but will soon switch to every day. I cant believe how much better I already feel and am really looking forward to finally being at a proper weight. I have always been over 350lbs and am shooting for 250lbs. Feels good to get into shape and am really stoked. Just how much better I already feel has me excited.
I cant wait to be able to start doing weights again and get my strength back after the recent hernia surgery.
I love my new wife beyond compare and want to spend a long healthy life with her and our kids.
I am always looking for pointers though so any help is appreciative. I have cut out soda and eating breads after 3pm and have great coaches to help me with cardio. I am eating great salads for dinner and have switched from one large meal a day to serveral smaller ones and am so happy that my belt is 5 notched smaller already .Whoo hoo! Cant wait to hit the guy agian tomorrow!
