The 7 up and SVO would be nice to have. First thing to do on the SVO would swap ecu to late 80s to early 90s Chrysler ecu for tuning and reliability. Then boost to the moon
SVOs... They're like an ex girlfriend. After some time, we forget how the wiring was mangled, how leaky the seals were and how beat up the suspension was... we remember how good it looked and how quick it was (when it ran worth a shit) and want to give it another spin.
The Global West Del-Alum bushing were a god send for the SVOs. I have rewired the factory harnesses so many times that at one point I had spools of top quality wire in the factory colors. I am not sure what you are refering to in regards to leaky seals.
After I cleaned up the grounds and replaced the rubber coolant hoses, mine was as reliable as most other fox mustangs were. Well, until I upped the boost to the moon and blew up the turbo.
Using a Standard Ignition LX218 TFI module and replacing the PIP at the same time was the #1 reliability upgrade for an SVO IMHO.

I was a Haltech dealer and threw them on quite a few SVOs one of which is a daily driver for someone that doesn't even know that there is an aftermarket ECU on her car.
Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.
All stock, 117K miles, black with tan interior, 5 speed, clean title. I changed the timing belt when I got it, added a ground cable, cleaned the grounds. She is likely going to be looking in the $5500 range.

Wait until the hangover wears off. That is insane money.
It's unbelievable! Just stupid money spent. I've been to barret jackson in scottsdale. People there go nuts in that environment and spend to much money. It must be the free booze and social status with the other rich people there!
When I was there I saw a rich Kansas farmer buy his fat daughter a 1978 Camaro owned by Bret Michaels for $125,000!
Just ask him if he is happy on the total for all the cars he took. I bet he is very very happy. Heck I bet he didn't expect the 89 porno red interior car to sell for much over 20-25k...yet it brings 71,500....yeah he is happy as a pig in sh!t....

Maybe I'm missing something but while the Fox bodies are iconic they really are more driver cars than museum show room car to me (except maybe the SVO.)
Other than the Terminators I don't see the SN95 models as being collectors cars for their styling.
Guessing buyers were big collectors that wanted to add pieces to their collections.

I would completely agree, minus cobra fox bodies and a 79 pacecar, nothing but just drivers.
