This is pure bullshit, If I buy a new car it better have a spare tire kit in it. And by 'kit' I mean a spare tire, jack and lug remover of some type. I don't need to get caught in the piney woods of East Texas or Hill Country with no cel phone coverage and no spare tire, I'm gonna be a pissed off muthufucker!

I now some Mustangs don't come with a spare because of wheel options, but you can still order them iirc. But fuck not having a spare unless it comes with Run Flat's...

Most of the times they have been spot on. Recently they wanted to send a tech to see if they could diagnose and fix the problem onsite. I said that's fine, but I'm 90% sure it's the fuel pump so bring a tow truck, too. After an hour of him messing with it he told me it was the fuel pump, and he needed to call a tow truck. Ended up being a three hour ordeal.

She has a emergency pump KiT no spare tire. Why does hyundai not give spare tires. Bull shit. Bad part her twin sister has a hyundai too and no spare tire. There goes $400

In other words, his grammar and punctuation have always been fine, he's just too fucking lazy to try and type a coherent sentence for the losers on this site!

I was just about to post this. Our V does not have one either. It has the pump in the spare location like yours. There were some guys putting together "V" spare tire kits for a while on one of the CTS forums.

Neither does my 2016 GT. The compressor and can of fix a flat go where the spare would. Not run flat tires either.

As like some that don't change their own flat tire and rather call the number on the back of their drivers license.

More people have cell phones and roadside service.

                        Increased trunk space.

Fewer people with the skill and willingness to get out the jack and change the tire even if they have one.

I think the real question is, why do they keep putting spares in some cars? Seems antiquated.

Increase trunck space.....do explain that one?

Why make a wishing well in the trunk for a spare if they don't give you one?

Do they put a big sign on it that says "don't put bags here?"
