I didn't get myself anything this year and my wife didn't really want anything either. We bought arts and crafts stuff for Carpenter and presents for the younger nieces and nephews. I was out maybe $150.

Basically I decided charity would be my Christmas present. I got a lot of charity when I was a poor kid. I've been paying it forward a bit each year but this time I dropped $500 on Denton's Shop with a Cop program and $500 with the Salvation Army. I then got my company to match both donations.


OK, I did ask my wife to go buy some lingerie. But she laughed...

The wife got me some tannerite, a lego la ferrari, and some north face cold weather gear.

We didn't spend much on each other this year, we focused on our kiddo. It was his first Christmas.

Didn't get a goddamn thing and it was glorious. We did something different this year, and it went over well for everyone. We got happiness, health, and time with friends and family.


I am about to order some Lucchese caimans though. More of a wedding present to myself.

I've been after a pair of Bean's for 4 or 5 years. They seem to fit my feet the best. I saw these when I stopped in to buy a shirt for the company Christmas party. Way too much money later, and I have the most comfortable boots I've ever owned. I'm going to have to buy a "basic" pair of AB's now so I don't wear these out!

Yep. We were in junior suite in the center building on the 7th floor with ocean view. They were doing construction on the wing across from us that had a view of the main drag. They were also refacing a lot of the building to the right of the pool.

We loved the place. I am not big on going to the same place more than once but I would definitely return. We will return.

Used my gift money and gift card for a PS4. Also got underwear and a pair of oxblood grinders brand boots from the UK from my parents and sister. I always end up with way more stuff than I really wanted, but I always love everything I get.
