  • Don't buy tires from onlinetires.com

Just a quick heads up. 2 days ago, my credit card was compromised and nearly 2 grand was charged to it from a VW Dealership in Nebraska. Then someone tried to charge a $1500 ticket on Ethiopian airlines on it.

I didn't quite know how, until my mom told me both her and my brother in law bought tires on OnlineTires.com and then a few days later their cards were compromised with several thousand dollars worth of charges in North Richland Hills...

So, looks like they have some sort of rat at OT, despite their great prices and fast shipping, not worth the headache of getting your card compromised and dealing with fraud services and not having a CC for 3 -5 days.

    YMMV

Were you driving east on Heritage Trace in the Mustang in your sig pic? Around 5'ish tonight?

Sucks about your CC. At least most companies can fix it easier now, compared to a few years ago.

Good to know. I've only ever use them for price matching.
Recent set I got from Tirebuyer.com. Best price anywhere even with having to pay tax.

Good thing I was on my computer today working with a dealership from Arkansas watching for emails. All of the sudden I started getting Ebay purchase emails. Another good thing is the wife was sitting over on the other couch so I could verify she wasn't the culprit. She hit the ebay account and I hit the paypal account. Bitches got me for only 120.00 though, with PS4 cards, Itunes, and one other 20 dollar thing. What pisses me off is there should be some sort of freakin delay before E card gifts can be cashed. We hit the contact seller and the I didn't purchase immediately and they still let them cash them. Last thing I bought from Ebay was a bag of dicks. I can't imagine the little old lady they forced to sew those did it but who knows.

Last time they hit me for like 4700.00

I've bought from Online tires several times, there is a couple things to know about them.

          1. The tires seem a lot closer to their expiration date, which probably explains the savings. Not sure how much that matters, but there it is.

          2. By the time you pay to have them mounted and balanced, you end up saving about $40. Still worth it to some folks, but for others, perhaps not so much.

Get your credit card notices sent to your phone. Every time there is a charge to my card, I get a notification no matter the amount or who does it. If I see something that isn't right, I call immediately. If it's fraud, they reverse the charge, shut the card down, and overnight me a new one. I've had it happen a few times since I travel so much, but it's a pretty simple process.
