  • Machine shop recommendation

It has been many years since I last built a piston engine and I do not know who to use to grind a crankshaft. In the past I used Bailey Crankshaft & Engine in east Dallas but their number has been disconnected. I need a shop that is willing to cut each bearing journal to the exact dimensions that I provide and who can index & equalize the stroke. Any recommendations?
Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.

Mostly rotary engines for my RX7s or using aftermarket crankshafts that do not require machining for my 2.3s.

Edit: It is odd that you mentioned a turbine. I have been pack ratting parts for a J85 for 18 years. Did we meet at Forest's parents house in Richardson once?

Do you always let other men handle your crank? We all know the answer to that.

Eddie is a good guy and I have had good luck for the most part, some details have been missed though, as usual with anything, double check all of the work. They are always slammed too.

If you're that concearned about it I would just buy a new crank.

I would have to blueprint that one too so I'd rather start with a good used core.
