Read that story yesterday. If it doesn't make your eyes tear up you have no soul.
I don't know if the parents have made any sort of public statement, but I hope they don't become angry at this guy for being the one to spend the last minutes with their son. Grief can be a motherfucker.
Was it his kids he was telling, or other people's kids? I got the impression it was the latter, but didn't read the story.
Other people's kids. He walked up to the line where people were waiting for pictures with Santa, and started loudly proclaiming that their parents were lying to them, Santa isn't real, there is no north pole workshop with elves making toys, and that Jesus is the reason for the season. There's a video out there somewhere.

But, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.
I had that same thought. The irony of a pastor telling anyone what is and isn't real is comical, to say the least.

OK, that's what I thought. SS Junk's post confused me.
I'd have been tempted to punch him in the mouth, myself.
Clearly jesus doesn't have enough pull to keep the season alive all by himself, and needs a bunch more fictional characters to help him out. You'd think that moron would have understood that.
That "pastor" is nothing more than low life "David Koresh" wannabe. He is always trying to figure out the next thing he can do to drum up some media attention for himself. The people that live around here (him), know that he is nothing more than a media hungry dirtbag.
